Been struggling to understand shooting with back tension til now
I started with an index release, moved to a thumb button, developed bad target panic. Tried a resistance activated release, panic got worse. Now having a week in on the hinge, I am starting to feel how a good shot should be. At first I was worried about too much adjustability or punching myself in the face. Time on a shot trainer helps with that. Watching chris B and the ultraview videos show what you need to get a well executed shot. This will be my primary release until we get close to hunting season, then I’m getting a UV button :)
Now pulling through the shot is starting to click and I think more time will only make it better.
PS, follow the instructions if shooting with a click, if you are less that two hash marks hotter on the click you will punch yourself.

My New Favorite Release
Was Skeptical at first with the price point since it's the same price as the stainless steel, & after a week deciding I gave in. I love that proceeds go to beginner archers but boy I love this beautiful color. This is a more refined & upgraded version of the hinge 1. It's WAY Better. so it's definitely worth the price in my opinion. It's more beefy & heavy which all in all feels super premium, also shooting is buttery smooth. This is an A+ for me.
